After more than two years of arduous trial and error we are so pleased to finally be ready to release our first De-Alc red wine. We begin with cool climate Shiraz from South Australia which undergoes low temperature distillation to remove the alcohol.
We then add our unique blend of natural extracts from Tasmanian Pepperberry and vanilla rich oak. The delicate extraction of the finishing ingredients is what gives us a blend that has more intricate layers of flavour and texture than all other de-alc red wines available.
Red wine has such a distinct and unique quality that cannot be found with simple addition of sugar or flavour. We feel our new red wine has the characteristics and complexity of a dry red wine, minus the alcohol and virtually zero sugar. We have managed to keep the sugar level below 1g per glass, without any overbearing acidity or lack of fruit flavour.
